My interests are pretty varied, I enjoy good conversation on most any subject; the journey of discovery into something new, I paint (oils), I'll never be a Van Gogh but it's sure fun trying. I have a great sense of humor and love to laugh, yes even at myself, which is often; I enjoy the fun spontainous side of my personality, keeping in mind age is a state of mind and a life should be lived well. I love good music like Rod Stewart's new stuff, love the Romantic Classic's and smooth jazz and have always liked country ,I enjoy good music no matter what the genre with the exception of hard rock or anything weird.
I'm always open to volunteering my time when I can; I travel to Arizona as frequently as possible, one of my favorite places to be. I've been retired for quite a while so I enjoy my life and make the most of every opportunity I get.

Our first date would more than likely be a bit tentative as is any first meeting but a good cup of coffee or a glass of wine and a little conversation would take of that, I'm friendly,relaxed and really easy to talk to . Our age and experience would pretty much give us the insight as to whether a second date would be nice or not and if it is that would be great, if it wasn't to be, well we would both be wiser for the experience of having met...looking forward to great experiences.
