i'm kind of introspective, which is strange considereing i never shut up. i like old things, and the outdoors, and i get down on the city as much as i do a virginal wilderness. i 'm passionate about history, and maybe a little too opinionated. i don't know why i'm doing this; i hate "electronic communication" and all these new forms of internet babble. i feel they are destroying peoples ability to actually talk with one another. i like to think that i'm smart and courtious and confident and interesting, but i'm probably not. i like a lotta different sorts of music, but lately it seems all i listen to is n.p.r. i both like and loathe meeting new people at the same time; i don't take to lotsa' folk, but those that i do i'm as loyal as a shepherd dog to. i work a very physical blue collar job which most people think is a waste of my intellect, but it allows me the luxury of self-respect, despite the fact that it will ensure i'm blind and crippled by the time i'm in my forties. oh, and i use way too many commas.

a quiet drink, or cup of coffee, whichever the other party prefers. we'd yammer on for hours. mostly me, at first, because i talk a lot when i'm nervous, but then i'd realise, "jesus christ, i havent shut up in an hour.", and get really embarrased.
