...and those that know, don't say. ;)

I am a very eclectic person and passionate about a lot of different things. Spending time with my family and friends is very important to me. I love to learn, and enjoy growing both personally and professionally.

I enjoy film, especially foreign films, and I read quite a bit, from a variety of topics. My work and career is extremely important to me but I do lead a balanced life. Taking care of myself physically is also very important to me. Finally, I love to eat at interesting and unique restaurants, especially ones that serve sushi. ;)

I absolutely love traveling internationally, particularly to new and unique destinations, and try to go somewhere new every year. So far I have been to Italy, Switzerland, Thailand, England, China, India, Malaysia, Mexico, and New Zealand. Next on my list is Bali, Japan and Australia, though I will probably go to Italy again soon to visit family. Being with someone who is good to travel with is obviously very important to me.

I am a very honest and communicative person, both with myself and others. I take relationships slowly but seriously. If you cannot communicate, we are not going to work!

As for my background, my parents are Italian immigrants but I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I speak Italian fluently. Besides my parents and sister, all of my family is in Italy.

I would like to find someone who shares important basic qualities and values with me: honesty, intelligence, education, career, family, etc. I do need that "spark" and prefer someone that challenges me in a unique way. Chemistry is extremely important to me.

I prefer to keep things simple for a first date and meet somewhere for drinks and chat. I prefer more interesting locations than a garden-variety Starbucks, such as a restaurant or cafe that neither of us has been to. Ideally, we'd have a nice long conversation, get to know a little bit more about each other, and if the interest is mutual, perhaps plan to meet again in the future.
