Never tried this before, but I love talking to new people on the net! I'm a computer science major at UC Santa Cruz (with a focus on game design :) ). Right now though I'm taking a break this year to finish some GE's and doing some part-time work.

I love video games (duh :P), hanging with friends and playing basketball. I like most music, but my fav is Punk Rock and recently I've gotten in to reading graphic novels. My favorite food is Chinese and my fave show is "The Wire".

I'm not sure how long I want to stick with programming, but I definitely want to be a teacher someday. I'm about to get started with a tutoring program to help under-funded elementary schools and after I graduate I'm planning on going to Japan for a year to be an ESL teacher!

I love to chat with people from other countries on Skype, but I'm actually kinda shy around new people unless I get to know them first! :). When you get to know me, I'm pretty funny and very nice and respectful. I'm a bit of an extrovert. I love to listen to people tell me about themselves, but if they're quiet, that's OK too since I enjoy asking questions. I'm very open-minded as well. My feeling is that people should do whatever makes them happy as long as its not at the expense of someone else. I'm usually very cheerful and I smile and laugh all the time! :D. Also, I really appreciate the value of a good relationship, so I always try to be caring, available and honest. I would never ignore or lie to someone I cared about.

Well, if you have a cool idea for a date then I'm all for that! Otherwise, I'm up for anything that would interest you: a simple movie and dinner or a day trip to the bay area are always nice, but I think the best way to get to know me would be an evening alone in the house, eating takeout and watching a netflix movie. And then talking the whole night away =).
