I have been retired for 10 years. My hobbies have been ones I can do alone, but I have begun to feel as if I am missing a lot. It is really not much fun to hike, go to the movies, have a picnic, go swimming, etc. alone.

My interests are varied and because I so am versatile I usually enjoy learning about new things. All music is beauty to my ears, but there is still no one who can sing like Patsy Cline.

If my interests seem to be in the "past lane" it is because, to use another persons statement, I believe that if we do not learn from the past, then we will usually relive it.
