I am originally from Ohio. I moved to Atlanta without ever having stepped foot in the city and without knowing a soul, so that should tell you a little about my personality. I am a very intelligent person who can hold a conversation on just about any subject. I love food. Trying new restaurants in Atlanta is one of my favorite things to do. I love the outdoors, and in the fall I enjoy going up to the mountains for some hiking to see the leaves change.

I am looking for someone that I can share my time and sense of adventure with. She should be intelligent, outgoing, and caring. I am at the point in my life where I have dated around enough to know what I want in a woman.

A little more about me. My family still lives back in Ohio, and I really miss them. I try to get up to see them when I can. I have a great career right now. I try and work out when I can, but sometimes hanging out with friends gets in the way of that. I love going out on the weekends to help me unwind. Twisted Taco or East Andrews are fun. I prefer laid back places to night clubs. On an interesting note, I like astronomy. I own a telescope and I use it to look at the rings of Saturn, the moon in close up detial, etc. It's always really cool to see something like that when you know how far away it is.

On my ideal first date, I would pick up my date, and open the door for her. I would take her to a restaurant that hopefully she has never been before. I said earlier that I love good food, and there are a ton of great places to eat here in Atlanta. I would spend the time getting to know her. Once dinner was over, we would either go to one of my absolute favorite low key bars where I could continue our dinner conversation, or perhaps we could do something more fun. If that worked out, then I would love to take that person hiking, or bowling or something a little more adventuresome on our next date.
