Outdoors: I enjoy walks and fishing. When it gets too cold, I enjoy spending time with friends, having a few drinks and / or sitting around playing games. I am an avid Cardinals fan. A friend and I go to Florida each Spring Training and get a week of fun in the sun along with Cardinal games. Besides St. Louis, I've lived in West Palm Beach and Chicago.

I am active in my church and attend regularly. I am also politically conservative. I will not trash your views, if you do not trash mine.

I still like the old 70s and 80s music: Rush, Queen, Styx, Journey, Boston. I also like some of the newer metal groups, though probably don't know all the words. If I want to be inspired, there's always the Christian music station.

I'm pretty open to what to do on a first date. I think it's important to "do" something, not just go to a movie, where you can't even talk or learn anything about the other person. Maybe lunch (to talk) and if we click, we can plan another date.
