*I have been getting the question from people on this site, "How in the world are you on here, and why??" My answer is pretty simple...there are wayy to many guys out there that try to get with me for the wrong reasons. I want someone who actually wants to meet me to get to know me AND my personality, not looks. Not to mention most of the guys I graduated with or meet/hangout with just aren't going anywhere in life. They dont strive for anything and are going completely down hill. That is the biggest turn off.

*Things I Love: WORKING OUT and WAVE RUNNING, staying healthy, cliff jumping, getting dirty, snorkeling in the ocean, surfing, adventures, boogie boarding, tubing, climbing, water, swimmming, soccer, basketball, sports, anything extreme and risky, sky diving, parasailing, playing in the woods, building forts, biking, camping, roller blading, trying new daring things, motorcycles (getting a ride), traveling, kids, food, huge dogs like an english mastiff, grapes, shopping and lots more.

*About Me: Although I am very adventurous and will do just about anything, I am very educated and think school is the most important thing in the world. I am 21 years old, currently a student working towards my Nursing Degree. I do not just want to be a "retired fat nurse" at a doctors office. I am specializing into neonatology and will hopefully be a traveling nurse first. Most guys have no idea what that is. I want to be a neonatal nurse practitioner which is a step below a doctor (higher then a nurse) that works with premature and sick newborns in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit). Babies that are sent to the NICU after birth are their usually for a life threatening issue, whether they are apneic, pulsless, have a heart condition, a neonate disease, or premature and weighs about 11 ounces. There are very many different reasons. A lot of people can't handle a job like this because the outcomes can be devistating. A lot of new borns will die, but the ones we save will just be rewarding :) As far as the traveling goes, one can be a traveling nurse which means they get assignments from hospitals nation wide to go work for them for a short period of time. I would love to do that before I was settled down with my own family.

*I think people who don't take school seriously and drink themselves stupid are extremely immature. I believe you need to strive for what you want and have goals and dreams for youself, otherwise what is there to look foward to?

*I dont like to drink because it does not really do anything for me. I still LOVE to go out and party, go to bars and socialize but I'm usually the one bringing the drunk ones home :) However I will drink once in a while if there is an occassion or whatnot. I also have my independent side where I like staying in some nights and just watching movies or reading something interesting.

*I absolutely LOVE italian food!

*I volunteer at Children's Memorial Hospital in the PICU (pediatric intensive care unit) and think it is the most amazing thing in the world! The strength those kids have is unexplainable and their hearts are so sweet. They keep me going and that's what I look foward to each and every week.

* I hope to live a long life because my "bucket list" is pretty long. haha.
-I want to travel to as many countries as I can to help, play with and treat little sick/poor children
-Scooba Dive
-Swim with wild dolphins
-Hike the grand canyon North to South
-Visit and spend at least one night in every state
and the list just goes on and on...

*In ten years, I can see myself as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with 4 kids and still wanting 2 more :)I would love to have up to 6 kids but only if financially stable (I will not be one of those moms who just keep having children but cannot afford it) I want my kids to have the world (but not spoiled brats). I love kids, and that's why I study them as a career. I see myself living somewhere like Cali, Arizona, Flordia (somewhere beautiful and warm) or on a lake. If I stay in Illinois, I will have a lake/beach house somewhere in the Country to escape to and boat, swim, wave run ect. I want my kids to learn all the water sports and be well rounded. I can't stand paranoid moms who dont let their kids explore, get hurt, get dirty etc. That's how we learn!

*I love playing and watching basketball, soccer and football.

*I am very family oriented and love to be around them. If I ever moved, I would still visit often or have them visit. My siblings and I are very close. And my parents are incredible.

*I think people over the age of 18 that dont know how to manage or save their money are rediculous. It probably means they cant do their own laundry either. Managing, investing and saving money is a very good quality to have that benefits one in so many different ways.

Anything! Im up for everything. If it was summer and we actually lived somewhere cool, it would be fun to go exploring or walk down the beach...but since we live in Illinois...the options are a bit limited. haha
