You'd have thought that having to write manuals as part of my job, that i'd be good at writing, but what to put in this box is so far proving to be a tad difficult.I guess since i've mentioned my job, i should start there. I'm an IT Consultant for a small, but expanding company, and i've spent the last few years designing and implementing a piece of software. I'm now moving into a slightly different role, where i will be maintaining and supporting the software as well as writing the manuals that go with it. I do consquently seem to spend my life in front of a computer, but i'm not a total geek... in fact, i'm so bad with computers that i'm not allowed to touch anyone else's in case i break it!
I have fairly quiet hobbies for the most part, i love curling up on the sofa with a book or a dvd, although being curled up with someone makes the experience so much more enjoyable. In the winter i quite frequently drag my duvet in so i can snuggle whilst i read. I also quite like decorting cakes but not eating them as i'm not a huge fan of cake plus i don't like watching my creations being destroyed.
I don't drink much anymore, i used to when i was younger (and i've just made myself seem really old there) but the frequent nights out stopped when i got my driving licence, i prefer driving to drinking. Thats not to say that i don't go out drinking, i do, just not frequently and i'm past the days where i want to go clubbing all the time, i'd prefer to sit in a pub or bar thats quieter and chat. I'm not a wine or beer fan but i have a newly acquired taste for Jacques and its rapidly becoming my fave stay at home drink.
I think thats probably enough for one small box, but if you'd like to know anything else, please feel free to ask.
