I'm described by friends as laid back, easy going, friendly and easy to talk to. I would call myself down to earth and easy to please.

I enjoy just about anything that takes me to the mountains or a beach. Sitting next to a nice fire and having a long conversation is a great way to spend an evening. I like to visit nice restaurants as well as cooking a nice dinner for a special person. (I'm a very good cook I'm told.)

I have been a dedicated father and raised my family as best as possible. It is now time for me to start enjoying the free time I have as a single man. I enjoy live music and concerts and pushing my comfort zone. Trying all types of new things.

I'm looking for a kind lady. A woman that is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. A woman that wants a best friend and a dependable stable man for a long term relationship.

I guess I have a bit of an adventurous side, In Aug. 08 I took a one year contract job in Iraq as an advisor. I know my photo looks like I'm in the military but I'm not. I went out with some very brave men of the Army, Navy and Air Force who allowed me to do my work as an advisor to the Iraqi Government. I had to dress like the military to avoid sniper. It's just not a good idea to stand out in a crowd in that situation! It was a once in a life time adventure to say the least, I'm very proud to have been part of it. That being said, I'm very happy to be home and back to a quiet peaceful life style. I have all I need in my life except a partner to share it with. I'm a faithful man and I know it will come when the moment is right.
