I like the outdoors. Hiking, camping, etc. I try to do one big trip a year at least. Last year it was hiking on Isle Royale with friends, this year it was a canoeing trip. Airsoft is another interest, been playing on a team for about ten years now. Military, and it's history, weapons...etc are always interesting. I have a few interesting firearms and enjoy target shooting.

Sometimes I'll get an itch and want to just drive to a town I haven't been to, pick a local resteraunt at random, check out the food, walk around, see what there is to see. I like having cookouts, bonfires, and watching horribly low budget movies with friends. That isn't to say I don't enjoy good movies, because I certainly do.

I have to say that it's been a while since I've dated, not for any one reason in particular. I haven't really put myself out there much because I'm a more traditional person when it comes to these kind of things, ie, not looking for a "casual encounter"..etc. I'm just not that sort of guy. I'm looking for someone who can carry an intelligent conversation or debate, has a sense of humor, (someone who can not only take a joke, but dish them out), enjoys trying new things, and is generally comfortable in their own skin.

I don't like the standard, conventional date. I'm not looking to just have dinner and stare at one another with nothing to talk about. I want to keep things casual and talk to eachother. I would prefer to just meet somewhere and walk around talking to one another.
