I am an ex-sailor (Navy) recently seperated from his first love- the sea. I have a sarcastic sense of humor and believe a joke and/or smile can diffuse almost any bad situation. That answers the future question of why I smile so much. I'm in school full time learning as much as I can as fast as I can. I love movies and good conversation. I am a trusting and trustworthy person who holds a seemingly endangered view in the power of a person's word.

I've traveled all over the world, primarily in the east Asia area but I've also been to parts of Europe and the Pacific. I appreciate all forms of art though abstract paintings tend to make no sense to me (most of them, anyway). For music I like rock and country and the occasional R&B.

You know those people who take life too seriously? I'm not one of them. I don't stress over everythin and I'm very relaxed (most of the time). Don't get me wrong, there are important things that I do, "fret," over and I will fight for them- family, education, friends, and my future.

I like to try new things, especially those with danger involved- sky diving, bundgee jumping, bull riding. I try to keep a positive outlook to new ideas and think negativity is just another obstacle to entertainment and innovation.

Raised as the third of four children by my father I have a profound respect for the man and I very much love my family. I could go on, but feel a novel is a little much to write about myself so I'll leave it at short-story length and let you fill in the rest with your questions.

I seek to get to know my date the first time we meet. Depending on the weather that could mean going to the park, going for a walk, getting ice cream, putt-putt, a carnival, dinner, movie, coffee. drinks, or a combination of multiple ideas.
