Hi, To tell you a little about me...I like to hike. I've done a few 14'er's, but I mostly like just to hike. I especially like to hike in areas along some kind of running water. I like camping either in a tent or in a camper. Of course, in a camper is more comfortable, but I want to make sure I spend time outside. I like to read non-fiction books. I like Christian or self-help/relationship books. I want to grow and learn forever. I like watching movies at home or at the theater. I watch a lot of old movies...Doris Day, James Garner, Katheryn Hepburn, Clark Gable and such. I snow ski, usually at Copper Mountain about 8 times a year. I like to ski the easy blues. I like to travel. I've especially enjoyed time at the beach lately. It's so relaxing for me. I like weekend get-a-ways as often as possible. I love to dance. I do Contra Dancing almost every week that I'm in town. It's great exercise and very social....way better than sitting home watching TV. I don't have cable and don't really watch TV. I just watch movies that I choose through Netflix.

For a first date, I'd like doing something active where we can talk and get to know each other, but not just sitting across from each other at a table for dinner. Dinner could be a part of the date, but not the main event and not sitting at a movie, where we can't talk. I think something like dinner at a nice comfortble place and bowling or something where we are busy, but able to talk.
