I always find it difficult to write about myself when I feel I'm basically an average woman. I am a single mother who works too much, plays too little and worries too often. I believe there's no cure for stupid and I don't have much patience for it.

I do like having a good time and I find spending time with good friends to be a wonderful stress reliever. It doesn't matter if we stay in or go out... I believe you make your own fun.

I do like the outdoors, and though, I'm not a big fan of the cold and snow, I can be enticed to build snowmen, have snowball fights and I can ski and skate (somewhat..lol). I could also say I like long walks on the beach, but seriously, what woman doesn't? My favorite time of year is late spring. That's when the world seems so fresh and new it's invigorating.

My music interests vary. I listen to everything from current to classic rock and from current to classic country. I also sing. I'll never claim to be fantastic, but I've sang at benefit concerts and weddings so I can hold my own and I enjoy it.

I try to be honest and straightforward, sometimes to a fault. I enjoy good conversation and look forward to chatting with new people, though sometimes, I'm a little shy at first.
