I love how the instructions for this section are written like a threat. (If your profile is lame, people won't write you.) Such pressure! Anyway, I just moved here and am basically looking to meet people to explore the area with. It's not that I'm hard to entertain, I just think that showing up at a wine tasting alone might give the wrong impression...you know?

I am compltely crazy about music and am always up for listening to something new. I like a wide variety of artists, from punk bands like Alkaline Trio to more mellow/indie stuff like Matt Costa. The only kind of music I really dislike is rap and really there's no sense in trying to convert me. I've tried to like it, I just don't.

As far as what makes me unique, I am full of random facts, none of which will ever benefit my life! (Unless I somehow can find a career playing Trivial Pursuit) I also think that a hug must last at least 7 seconds or it doesn't count!

I love first dates for the simple reason that no matter what, I learn something. I think that because the situation is so uncomfortable it brings out a part of us that we might not see on a day to day basis. Plus, if the date goes terribly bad, you get a great story out of it. I have perhaps the worst first day story ever...and I wouldn't take it back if I could. That stuff is priceless. That being said, I think that meeting up for a drink or coffee is a good first date. That way you get the feel for the other person and still have the chance to keep it brief if you're not feeling a connection.
