I'm finishing up a masters degree at OSU after 6 years of playing over in Bend. I still miss the sun. I'm a big fan of adventures and going places - A day spent inside is a day wasted!! I do a lot of fishing whether it's out towards the coast or over on the deschutes. (smoked steelhead is yummy).
I'm in the engineering program, but I don't think that I fit the stereotypes. I can handle myself in social situations .... just don't put me in a Wal-Mart or I start to freak out a little bit :)
If you like hiking, exploring, or just taking the dog to the park ... well I'm good at all of those.

Grabbing a drink and talking never hurts as a starter - beyond that it depends on the weather - if it's nice then go for a hike or out to the coast to hang out on the beach. If it's raining then I'd probably opt for someplace dry .. preferably with good food.
