These days I spend my free time reading one of many books I have going, working out at the local Y, hanging over a great beer at Great Waters Brewery, being amused by my new cat, begrudgingly washing the dishes or doing some other domestic chore (I don't like spending my time doing the dishes or the laundry, but who does), meditating to find the joy in domestic duties (well, not really but I know there is more to the act than simply getting my clothes or dishes clean), thinking, no pondering upon my existence, socializing with people, strangers and friends alike, and I am, quite at the moment, waiting for that snow to fall to add snowboarding back into my diet! Phew!

By day I work in the evaluation department of a local museum, or I am out collecting data for a little side business I have going. I like to get out and socialize, but, to tell the truth, I don't do so much at all these days. I'd like to change that. I have a great group of friends. I love music of many kinds, and seeing it live is always a great time. I also like to dance. The variety and frequency of music and other cultural events is one thing I love about the Twin Cities. I also like to stay home and relax, watch a movie, make some great new or tried and true dish for dinner. I am a versatile guy and I am game for most anything interesting. Got any ideas?

I'd like to meet somewhere not too noisy where we could talk. I'm looking for good conversation and laughter to get things started. Doing this over drinks and food at night or coffee in the afternoon is great, keeping it simple and with the goal of finding out about each other and enjoying the moment. Maybe we'd follow this with a walk to our next destination, which could be live music or just the nearby pool table.

This is difficult. I don't have some thought out "first date" that is my way of impressing someone. But I CAN take charge and impress the hell out of you! I am really most interested in finding out if you and I click. From there, well, I have a great imagination and I am hardly at a loss for coming up with something fun to do. There is a lot of fun to be had out in these great cities of ours, and I am pretty entertaining too.
