I'm looking for a long term, loving, and passionate relationship with my best friend. I want a partner who doesn't take herself or life too seriously, and can roll with the punches just as easily as she can dish them out.

Ok...I have no idea what to write here, so here's a few random bits:

1. I grew up in a small town in Central Illinois, where the nearest fast food places was 15 miles away. My graduating class in high school was 60 some people, and we were consolidated (3 towns).

2. I spent 4 years in the Marines ('94 to '98). I was in the Intelligence field, which sounds a lot more exciting then it was. I spent time in California, Arizona, and Florida before being stationed in Hawaii for 2 1/2 years.

3 . After moving back home, I got married way too early (8 months from meeting to marriage). Unfortunately, it only lasted 8 years. However, it taught me what's truly important in a relationship. It was a sad experience, but I learned a lot.

4. I have a daughter (almost 7) who means the world to me. I only have her a few days a week, which is rough. She's a total spaz, but I love her to death.

5. I've been in the Joliet area for the last 5 years, and was in Houston for 4 years prior to that. I'm still not sure if I like the area. It's nice to have so many options for things to do, but there's way too many people here.

6. I'm not a fanatical fan that can recite stats from memory, but I catch every Bears game and as many Cubs games as I can. I've been a lifelong fan of both teams. I just started watching the Blackhawks now that they're back on TV, and I'm really getting into it. I'll root for the Bulls and Sox when they're doing well, but not really a fan of either.
