Just moved here from Chicago--have lived and worked in Miami, St. Pete, and the ATL the last 5 years. Here I am for the same reason--so far I love the place--and looking forward to getting to know the people!

I learned young to appreciate the small things in life as much as the large. I love to curl up with a good book as much as I love to go out for a night on the town; I love a great steak at a swanky restaurant as much as I love a Quarter Pounder from McDonalds; and I enjoy watching football as much as I enjoy some good long endless pointless (but poignant) gossip with my girlfriends. My favorite thing is water--not bottled H20--the beach...a lake...the oceans...the Colorado River. I LOVE to travel. I believe there is no education in the world as powerful as travel--I have been so fortunate to experience much of this world…and have not had enough yet, nor will my appetite for new adventures and places ever be fulfilled! My favorite things in this world are great books, snap peas with ranch dressing, and dive-bars with good company and a juke box with a vast array of songs from Sinatra to Britney. I like my beer warm and my coffee cold. I love experiencing new cities. Nothing compares to a day at the ballpark in summer—Wrigley Field in particular. I absolutely love to SKI in the winter. Long road trips with great friends in a car bring me joy, and nothing makes me feel warmer than sitting inside during a monstrous thunderstorm surrounded by great company. Cranium is a close second.

And I know for certain there is no shorter distance between two people than laughter.

If I had my way, I'd be a writer for National Geographic, reporting on the natural wonders of the world. Until then I am enjoying finding myself-- and finding workin' for the man more interesting and less entertaining everyday.

People Magazine and US Weekly are shameful addictions. And for some reason; Slurpees always cure any of my woes. And jeans...maybe the best invention ever...especially those with great butt-ness.

Explore the city- museums, segway tour, monuments, parks, etc. Have a few pints at a local pub--Sundays with BEARS Football are always fantastic:)
