I'm just checking around, seeing what is out there.

I'm an average guy who works at a full-time job. 22yo, brown hair, blue eyes, 6'1" and about 225lbs. A little on the heavier side, but some weight is not necessarily a bad thing, eh? :)

I like to read when I'm in the mood; curling up on the couch with a book or throwing on a movie. I write short stories when the muse strikes me,though I've been feeling the itch to try something a little more serious in that regard. I'm a simple guy, and simple things please me. :)

I love coffee. I'm an avid drinker of caffine, and I also smoke. I love getting up early in the morning and enjoying a nice, hot cup of tea and a cigarette. I generally get up fairly early (unless I totally plan to sleep in), go for a walk and such. Wake myself up. I'm an easy-going kind of guy who takes things as they come and enjoys the good things in life.

I'm a bit of a social drinker. I love my wines, though I greatly prefer red over white. I like a nice pinot noir, or syrah after dinner, or during. I also like the occasional beer. One of my favourite things to do is to just sit around with some friends and have a few drinks while talking. I enjoy my time with friends immensely.

I enjoy going out for dinner, though a home-cooked meal is just as good. It's a shame I'm a pretty terrible cook myself! I'll eat just about anything, not picky in the slightest. From Italian to Japanese. I'll try anything at least once. I like to consider myself an experimental eater.

I'm not quite sure what else to say. I'm pretty laid back, though it takes me a bit of time to warm up to someone. That's not to say I'm anti-social, because I enjoy meeting new people. Cautious, I guess is the word. I really am just your average guy, and you don't need to be flashy or over the top to impress me.

As far as what I'm looking for: someone mature, who knows what they want. I've travelled, I've seen a lot and I think I know what I want. Someone kind and compassionate, who shares my zest for everyday living. Someone with a good head on their shoulders. The kind of guy I could bring home flowers too, or curl up on the couch beside and watch a movie, or just hang out with a glass of wine or whatnot and just talk.
