I've lived a lot of different experiences, which like everyone else make me unique. I love to tell stories about my past, and consider myself to be relatively expressive, and entertaining while doing it. I have a lot of acquaintances, and just a couple of friends. All seem genuinely happy to see me. I've never ended an argument with my fists, though I've started a few with my mouth. I think honesty is a virtue few can pull off completely. It's harder than you'd think to keep your friends and still be completely honest. The ones you end up with in spite of your honesty are true friends who would take a bullet for you. They're also the ones I'd take a bullet for. Generally anyone who knows me, knows what to expect, and like me in spite of my shortcomings.

I think romance is both easy and exciting, especially at the start of a relationship. A first date is something that should speak to the heart. Let's face it, no fire on a first date, and a second is a long shot. It also needs to be addressed with the realism that things may not work, and either person may want an out. Drinks at the bar of some smoldery, darkened restaurant is a great place to meet. The other patrons consist of quiet couples, each submersed in their own intense conversations. A place where you want to dress in your little black dress, I'll wear my black suit; we may as well look our best.

Drinks go well, with good conversation, plenty of feeling out, and boundary probing. You seem liberal to me, and interested in the fun side of life. You think I'm hilarious, of course, which makes up a little for my lack of money. You think, too bad he weren't a little hotter, that lack of money thing really sucks. He is funny though...

With that, you decide to give me a little more rope and not send the text to your standby friend, who is waiting to place that 'Emergency' call to you. Since you have shown no desire to shirk any questions about yourself, the conversation becomes increasingly personal and revealing. Even more amazing, is that my idiosyncracies seem appealling to you and yours. By this time, I think you're amazing and I'm eating out of the palm of your hand. You're thinking, 'Jeez, he's eating out of the palm of my hand, why can't he have money? I don't know if it's this Sangria or not, but he seems cuter, and way funnier now.'
