About Me
I am a wonderful guy. I am a single father. I have had custody of my son for the last six years. My son is getting ready to turn 8 in Nov. I applaud any single parents. Raising children and working and doing all the things single parents have to do I believe is the most challenging yet rewarding thing in life. It has help me become the man I am today. I am tired of coming home from work and having no one either there or to talk to or go out with. If you like to stay home and communicate by computer only then don't contact me please. I do not have time to be on the computer all the time or like to be. I am not weird, clingy, jealous or controlling.
I love to do many things. I love to go vacationing as well. Just simple road trips are fun to me. Things like going to St. Louis for the weekend or somewhere close just to escape the monotony. I have gone snowskiing quite a bit and really enjoy it. I have gone whitewater rafting, hiking, mountain biking. I find myself to be an very athletic guy. I like to do activities that challenge you. I play sports. I played soccer growing up and baseball. I use to play on a traveling softball team. I am very competitive.
I aslo love to cook. I am neat and tidy and don't mind helping around the house. The bad thing is I don't mind laundry I just hate putting it away. (but who does right?)
I got a response from someone today and it stated that we both agreed that religion is not important to us. I want to make it very clear to anyone reading this. I am a big believer in Christ. I have a very strong faith. I use GOD on a daily basis to make it through the day and without him to lean on I probably would throw in the towel some days. I am not a big believer in religion though. My last pastor said to the congregation one day. If we all took the time we spend on religion or religious beliefs and dedicated that time to God all of our faiths would be much stronger. Religion is man made. This is why I am not a religious individual. I am a very spiritual person to say the least.
I am romantic love to pamper and cater to someone I am sharing myself with. I do not like to be last on your things to do list. I am not one to talk to or date multiple people. I expect someone to do as they say. This is important in the basis of a relationship. I don't expect anything other than what you would expect for yourself. I will not and do not put up with bullshit. I am a great communicator. I will respect your opinion even if I don't agree. I am just trying to find someone that is as tired of spending there days feeling alone and wants to start a friendship first type of thing. I really want someone special that would like someone special to be there for them and listen to them and care about what they are sharing with them. I do ask alot because there are not to many guys out there like me. I am attracted to someone that does take care of themselves both mentally and spirtually. I don't care how much money you make. I do care about how much you can care. I am 5'9" blondish brown hair and blue eyes. I am 185 lbs. I work out a few times a week. I am very stocky and prefer someone in good shape or working towards good shape. If you feel that I am someone that you could measure up for then give me a response. Remember this before responding; laughing and having fun is very important to me. If this is not important to you or it is hard for you to do either one. Then stop and move on to the next person. Hope to hear from you soon.
First Date
First date: I usually like to do lunch. If there is no connection it doesn't take long to eat and run.
