I'm an artist and singer/songwriter. I write freelance about interesting people, and take their portrait. I create short stories, prose poetry and humor pieces. I love nature, living by the ocean, and gardening while being watched by friendly animals. I practice humor daily, as well as meditation, metaphysics, Christian principles and yoga philosophy.
I enjoy traveling to foreign countries and I love to sing. Last year I was fortunate to be able to combine the two and traveled to the UK to make a CD of my original, folk-pop songs with 70s producer, Stu Epps.
I love the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Bowie and Nirvana (crank it up really loud). I also like Alternative Music, Folk, Rock, R&B, 60s/80s Music, Indian Ragas, Indian Bhajans, Irish Folk Tunes, Bagpipes, Motown, Jazz.. and of course, Brasilian Sambas. In short, any good variety of music as long as it's Melodic and has Soul.

I admire Brassai, Diane Arbus, Cindy Sherman, Dali, Michelangelo, Rembrandt, Renoir and Van Gogh.
I am a uniquely quirky and slightly eccentric person in that I enjoy combining a comfortable, artsy lifestyle with a certain aura of mystery and sophistication. I've traveled extensively and feel I have gained a broader perspective on life and the world through this invaluable experience.
I'm looking for an affectionate friend/companion, perhaps also a bit quirky, who can easily accept my creativity and independence, and who supports me in going for my life's goals and visions.
