I will probably make you laugh. I've been told I'm intense. I don't remember the last time anything "shocked" me. I have a strong taste for the weird, but I like to appear conservative-ish (some kind of slacker/classic hybrid) and blend in. I don't know why that is, whether it came from an anxious adolescence or if I just get a kick out of people's reactions to me once I open my mouth. I came out at 16, but I never really made it into the Dallas gay scene, which I now regret. I have five tattoos, only one of which I regret. Two have to do with Dallas. I will defend my beliefs on politics or morality fiercely, unless you change my mind.

Working as a payroll manager now at a construction company.. It's laid back, which helps me plan my next step.. Probably a degree in Linguistics, although I'm also considering advertising and computer programming.

In terms of music and all those little tastes.. I go for anything weird, poppy, with a beat that sounds like magic as far as music goes... amy winehouse, lily allen, erykah badu, of montreal, radiohead, outkast, michael jackson, the pixies, the weakerthans, clem snide, le tigre, gravy train, cibo matto, blackalicious, m.i.a., elvis costello, manu chao, imogen heap, old 97s, CCR, waylon jennings, al green, earth, wind and fire, that kind of stuff... Really into horror movies these days, but I like anything with an intelligent plot. Read more blogs and mags (matte-cover for hipster cred, not that I'm keeping track) than books just as a result of work schedule..

Something low-key.. Everyone puts too much pressure on these things!! We can just hang out, get a drink, with or without friends.. whatever's most natural.
