So here's a little about me... I'm on this site because I just moved to Illinois from Michigan and don't know a lot of people yet. I was born and raised near Toronto, Ontario and damn I miss my home, but I'm here now and plan to make the most of it!
And now, a quick list of some things I enjoy:
1) Sports - Especially watching hockey, soccer, and baseball. I also like to play golf so it would be nice meet someone who plays as well. You don't have to be good at it, I'm not!
2) Going out to sports bars, clubs, pubs, restaurants, etc.
3) Movies and television - a wide variety there!
4) cooking - I love experimenting in the kitchen and really enjoy preparing meals.
5) travel - haven't done as much as I would like to, but I plan to do more! There IS a list of places I will go in the near future.
6) music - primarily electronic genres of house and trance, but i love everything from 80's pop to hard rock. Not huge on the country however.

So I guess that I sound like a fairly typical guy thus far. I assure you I have much more to offer than just what you've read. I'd like to keep some things as a pleasant surprise for you! I'm career-oriented, tidy, well-spoken, and basically the kind of guy you would be proud to introduce to your parents. Most would agree that these are good traits in a person which of course is why I look for similar things in a woman.
Like most of you, I really don't think that my ideal match is waiting for me at the bar, but it can be difficult meeting people when you're new to an area. To really sum it all up, I am hoping that I won't have to be on here very long and that somehow the right woman is here looking for me too!
(On a side note, what is going on with the ridiculously high proportion of teachers on this site? Such an admirable profession yet still no love. I find that very sad.)

There isn't a set agenda when it comes to first dates. As long as we both feel comfortable and can talk without having to yell. I'm up for dinner and a movie or we can go do some sledding followed by hot chocolate. I'm very easy going in this department and if you are as well, then we have a world of opportunity!
