Some people might describe me as a bit of a renaissance man. Personally, I'd say that I'm a fairly well rounded person who's always looking to learn something new. My biggest regret in life is that at some point during the day I have to sleep. Otherwise, I'd probably spend that time exploring my latest area of interest.

Reading is one of my favorite activities, but I'm also an avid runner. I enjoy spending several days a week working out in an attempt to both perfect my physique and to simply relieve work related stress. Additionally, I also derive much pleasure from spending time with family, traveling, cultural events, museums, and foreign & independent films. I have a life-long love affair with languages which led me to study Linguistics during my undergraduate days, though I.T. is my chosen career field.

My musical tastes could be considered eclectic. I enjoy so many different styles and artists. I especially enjoy jazz, electronic, hip-hop, latin, classical, and many african styles. On any given day you may find me listening to anything from Coletrane to Salif Keita, or from Radiohead to The Abyssinians on my iPod.

I would consider myself to be a traditionally marriage-minded person, so ultimately my goal is to find that "special someone" to settle down with. I don't want to be a bachelor forever.

A good relationship is both a friendship and a partnership, and thus should be built upon openness, honesty, trust, and unity. I'm ready to share my life with someone who has these goals in mind. How about you?

I'm a fairly adventurous person, so for a first date I try to take my companion somewhere that neither of us has ever been, and do something new and exciting. I like the idea of exploring a new place with a new person on my arm. In my mind, it doesn't matter whether its an active date (i.e. rock climbing, bungie jumping, etc) or something more sedate. The most important part of the date is the discourse. A good date is definitely based on fun and great conversation.
