Hey you. Yeah, you. What's up? I am a geek, first and foremost. I've come to terms with it, and in fact, I like it. It's what makes me happy. Well, parts of it make me happy. Unfortunately, finding women who find geeks the dating material is rough, and that's what brought me here. I'm kind of a "Big Bang Theory" type of geek, just not as smart. Don't get me wrong, I'm still smart. But just not that smart. But I digress.

Anyway, what's that list say above this box? Oh, right. Hobbies. Well, being a geek, it's the usual stuff. Video Games, Comics, quirky music, computer related stuff, and just plain having a good time. If I like something, I tend to have a near encyclopedic knowledge of it, which is nice, but can freak some people out.

Myself? Well, I, again, am a geek. However, there's more to me than that. First off, I am a Christian, but not one of those Christians who is gonna over the top beat you with the bible. My belief on religion is, if you're doing right by God, people are gonna see it, and want to be like it. I'm also Straight-Edge, but not so much so that I'm gonna beat you if you do smoke/drink/do drugs. I have my own personal reasons for not doing it, and obviously my faith is a large part of that, but I have my own reasons beyond that.

Politically, I'm very much to the right, which is probably a turn-off to most of you in internet land, but I'm not one of those uninformed people about politics. I do my research, and I've formed my opinion accordingly. I also have a good sense of humor. It's pretty off-beat, and not everyone gets it, but to those that do, they love it.

Musically, I'm a mixed bag. I like everything from Iron Maiden to Duran Duran. The only things I really don't like is modern rap/hip hop/whatever you want to call that drivel and country (Though I make an exception for Johnny Cash.) My favorite bands of the moment are Muse, MGMT, Jimmy Eat World, Coheed and Cambria, and Flight of the Conchords, so again, there's an idea of the spread.

First Date... Hmm. Well, I'm a very traditional guy, when it comes to these sort of things, depending on what you call a date. I generally just like to hang out, watch movies, play video games, listen to music, or just talk for awhile. But, if it's a "date" in the traditional sense of the word, I pick you up, we go out to a movie, go eat, maybe hang out for awhile afterward, and I take you home. Yes, I'm not looking to be the type of guy that sleeps with you after the first date. I like to think that gentlemen still exist, and that I'm one of them.
