I am semi-retired and have done much traveling in the past 5 years. I have also participated in missionary work in the South Pacific. God has shown me that it isn't so much about WHAT we have, but WHO we have in our lives. The total number of “toys” we end up with isn't nearly as important as the people we share our lives with.

I would love to find my "special" lady where the Holly Spirit would grow between us in creating our own trinity in Christ. I believe in any marriage, God is the “Rock of Gibraltar” that builds the foundation that supports the relationship. To create an atmosphere of true intimacy, we must humble ourselves to possess a Christ-like heart in forgiving one another for our “weaknesses.” Due to the fall of Adam and Eve, no one is prefect. All relationships possess their own unique set of "weaknesses" that require His grace of forgiveness.

For me, intimacy is when there is open communication where we are able to talk about anything and everything concerning the relationship itself. Honesty, "openness" and communication is very important to me. As a couple, the "window" of transparency to our souls must be revealed for God to lead us as a couple. We must submit our relationship to Him. “Couples that pray together, stay together.”

I had been married for 25 years. Dated my Ex 5 years prior to getting married, for a total of 30 years. I have been divorced since 2002. I now feel I am ready for God to have a “special” lady waiting for me for a long and lasting relationship. “Until, death do us part.”

As with everyone, God has blessed(??) me with an ample supply of hormones. We all have moments of weakness, but I believe sexuality can be the downfall of any relationship with "hurt feelings" if not handled properly in accordance to His timing. The primary ingredient for any successful, long term, intimate relationship is established first by solidifying the "oneness" as brother and sister in Christ. Once the trinity of the relationship is established with Christ, everything else within the relationship will fall into place. God comes first.

I am an outdoors type of person. If you are interested in sailing, backpacking, or missionary work in international lands, that would be a definite plus. I love integrating with people outside our own country in learning more about their own local culture.
