I am an upbeat person who loves to laugh and get to know people. I tend to be shy at first but warm up quickly. I believe in treating people with respect, honesty, patience, and the way I would want them to treat me. Communication is the life line of any relationship. You have to be able to talk to each other respectfully and patiently and never allow the sun to set on your anger. Life is too short to spend time arguing and tearing each other apart! I get my strength from my belief in God, although my walk with him has not been perfect (far from it) I am still trying and growing in it. I believe that friendship is first and then see where things go from there. I must admit I am a hopeless romantic who loves to joke and kid around. But I have a serious side to me as well. I am a sweater and jeans kind of girl however, I like to dress up too.

I love to travel and my goal is to go back to Europe and also visit Ireland. Other things I enjoy are walks on the beach, in the woods, in the snow/rain; snuggling in front of a camp fire or fireplace, being on the water (would love to learn to sail), art museums, concerts, amusement parks (roller coasters being my favorite), antiquing, road trips anywhere, or best yet just spending time getting to know someone special.

I like many kinds of music to include top 40, rock, classic rock, country, swing, big band and classical.

My goals and aspirations are to finish my bachelors degree to add to my two associates degrees, travel and see many more places and cultures, become the person God wants me to be, and to love laugh live.

PS. Communication is key in everyone's life. Do you ever feel someone just does not get you or you cannot reach someone else. Here is a great book to read that may shed some light. Gary Chapman's "The Five Love Languages for Singles"
