First and foremost, I am only looking for friends right now. I am too recently heartbroken to give anything more at this time. If you are looking for more than that, I'm sorry, I don't have it to give... So if you are co-dependent and think friendship is worthless (you know who you are...), don't bother contacting me. Friendship can be far more valuable than you give it credit for. And if something more comes of it, then it is meant to be, but if you're ONLY looking for more and think friends-only is a waste of time, then I am sad for you. (Yes, I am speaking to someone in particular here who I am glad not to know any further because he is a little on the closed-minded and probably psychotic side.)

OK, so yeah...

I am a pretty busy woman; I work full time and have three amazing children. In my "spare time" I love to write (songs mostly), scrapbook, take walks around the neighborhood, hang out with friends, and listen to music. (I like a little bit of everything musically, but my favorites are The Beatles, Down From Up and I also love Broadway musicals.)

I used to be an accountant before I had my children, but in search of a more flexible schedule, I now work as a fast food manager, which is surprisingly kinda fun!! I have a degree in Music Business, and I hope to one day publish my own songs.

Generally speaking, I prefer things that are random to things that are predictable, though of course reliability and accountability are a must in all aspects of life. I am honest, caring, sensitive and a free spirit. I love pixies. I sing along with the radio in my car. I don't sing in the shower. My favorite color is red. What's yours? I am generally a people person, but I am also sometimes shy. I really love meeting people who can carry on a good conversation without agreeing with everything I say, just because it's easier. I like a challenge. I wish I knew how to play guitar. I am afraid of snakes, but working on that... My house is under a constant state of construction. There is crayon on the walls. I can rap a mean Vanilla Ice. I can't ice skate. I hate mustard.

I have days when I seem anti-social, but it's not you, I promise... LOL. I do require some "alone time" for thinking, writing, etc. and it's not always easy for me to ask for that time; so if I am quiet, don't ask me what's wrong, what I'm thinking, what you did, etc. Just understand, I need this time of quiet... and soon, I'll be talking your ear off again and you'll wish I'd just shut the heck up again, hahahaha...

I am looking for friends... people who have been down some similar paths but who haven't been immersed in my life the past couple years, which have been difficult. Something fresh and objective... fun and inspiring. The chips will fall as they may, and I'm going to pick them up and eat them. (5 second rule.) I am taking everything in from a new set of open eyes, and so far, I like what I see. I like that too.

I'm not looking for a date so to speak, though time will tell. Right now I am looking for friends. I like coffee shops, if that counts as a "date." :)
