Curious, Intellectual, Affectionate Guy; I am typically a pretty good first date and am searching for someone with shared interests. New to Cycling, but not to working out; new to writing poetry, but not to writing; I am comfortable up or down; east or west; in the gym or gallery; at the hot dog stand or restaurant; in jeans or a suit. Not a cultural elitist, but I do like indie film, modern dance, and experimental theater. Still, I can glue myself to reality TV as easily as the next guy. If you feel that the answers to most questions of history, philosophy, identity theory, and love are answered by Battlestar, then we will have plenty to talk about. Not a Sci-Fi guy, just interested in many different ideas.

A great first date would be dinner and conversation. It's the ease of conversation that I am looking for. I would prefer someone who is curious, passionate, and an active listener and thinker than someone who, on paper, might share a proportion of my interests. So, a bit of food, some drink, and great conversation.
