First and foremost, I'm looking for someone I can call friend... If something deeper grows from there, then so be it... and would love to discover that honesty, respect and integrity are qualities that still exist in today's world. I've always been able to see the good in people, and are sensitive to others. For the most part, I'm a positive person, and love to laugh and smile!

I have a loving heart, a gentle soul, and honesty is the most important thing to me in any relationship - friendship or other... I can be kind of quiet and shy when I first meet someone, but turn into a chatter-box once I'm comfortable.

I spend a lot of time with my son and family, and have a multitude of interests. I love music of all kinds, the arts, movies (classic and new releases), and can spend hours in a bookstore. Many things peak my interest. I enjoy learning new things and seeing new places, and find it fun to shoot pool, play card/board games, go for walks, star gazing, intelligent conversations, cooking, the theater, being outdoors, and even enjoy target shooting... and someday, I will learn how to ride a motorcycle!

Over time, I've discovered it isn't so much how you spend your time, as much as with whom you spend it. It could be something as simple as coffee and conversation... a night at the theater... an elaborate dinner.... target shooting for an afternoon, or a quiet night at home curled up with a good movie.


What I look for in someone else:
Honesty, self-confidence, sense of humor, kindness, thoughtfulness, and the ability to compromise with others. Someone who does what they say, and says what they mean. Someone who looks at a person for what's in their heart...

I prefer to talk on the phone before meeting. I think it tells both of us if we're able to have a conversation and communicate with each other... Then if we're both comfortable, meet at a coffeehouse or somewhere to sit and talk.
