Yeah, I know.......what is a snow skiing mountain biker doing here of all places?.......a complete 'fish out of water' as they say. Well, I love to learn, I am an extremely adaptive person and I enjoy meeting new people. I thought I'd try things around here to see if it could fit too.

I originally came here for work. I'm a consultant and basically tell people how to fix things. Schedule driven types usually view me as an obstacle. I find the challenge invigorating and rise to it. If you are appreciated, you feel part of a team and go home feeling rewarded and content.

I do enjoy civilized things as well. Dinner parties are cool. There's nothing like a good BBQ, noodle salad and all that. I would love to know how to dance well. I think a couple in sync, knowing each others' next move is very sexy. I find music very relaxing and listen often. Most of the tunes on my ipod are some strain of rock.....soft rock, southern rock, country rock, hard rock, jazz rock.....probably more older stuff than newer. There is even some latin stuff from my attempts at salsa and trips down south. I can listen to pretty much anything except Rap. Personally I don't classify Rap as music at all.

I like a drive in the country with some good music playing, maybe stop in a small town and check out the locals or some cool old houses. I'm more of a land person than water but do enjoy a long walk on the beach. There are an awful lot of people that simply 'love' the beach. Maybe with the right catalyst, I could too. I have to admit, sitting in a beach chair, feet in the sand, sound of the surf, a cool breeze rustling your hair are all pleasant thoughts. I enjoy pretty much anything outdoors but also kicking back to a good flick and a pizza or something else as informal......maybe a good bottle of wine to go with it.

A coffee or drink is OK but dinner in a quiet spot to allow intimate conversation would be better, maybe some finger food for amusement or something foreign to help the conversation.
