I have a wide variety of interests and am quite open to trying new things and experiences. I do like to travel, but as long as I'm doing anything outdoors, I'm happy...I enjoy coaching youth football even though my three sons are grown... I write fiction and have a novel published, titled: Love Has No Boundaries. It is a dramatic love story between a man and woman, but is not a sappy romance! It has some important messages, such as bringing to light the evils of spousal and child abuse, and racism; and the importance of being a good father..... I love kids and have no problems spending time with the children of others I might date... I think I am a very empathetic person, also very patient and supportive... People who know me say I am the most positive person they know... I love to tease and pull harmless pranks, and will always have the heart of a kid.....I believe happiness is a choice, so I 'choose' to be happy!.....I am not a money-motivated person, so high-maintenance women should probably look elsewhere...I avoid gossip and drama, so drama queens need not apply......Even though I am not outwardly religious, I do have a close personal relationship with God, and I have had a number of spiritual experiences in my life......I don't believe in arguing or fighting, so I refuse to do both...I think differences can be worked out in peace and civility, and with compromise...I truly believe in 'random acts of kindness' every day of my life....I love giving back and body rubs, but am way too ticklish to receive them =)...I am a high energy person and never will be a 'couch potato'..I am passionate about everything I do; definitely a romantic at heart, and long for that someone special to fall asleep in my arms each and every night...Bottom line is: I want to find the 'one' who I will be kissing her forehead and holding her hand when she takes that last breath; and vice versa, should I go first........... I live on a beautiful property (20 acres) in the country, with woods, a pond, 4-wheeler trails, and where deer and turkey abound. It really is a piece of heaven I am spiritually connected to....I love animals and have a 220 pound dog--an old english mastiff- named 'Bo', who is a big lovable teddy bear...He's a great friend..... I am used to cooking, cleaning, handiwork, etc.... I have never been a 'mama's boy' so I wouldn't expect someone to do all those things for me... I believe in sharing the chores.

First date...hmmmm....well, I would ask my date what SHE would like to do....If she left it up to me, then we could go for a milkshake, tea or beer, just to talk and get to know each other....If she wanted the date to continue, then we could go to my place and go for a long hike down by the river, then come back to cook steaks on the grill... After that, we would let fate decide.
