i'm very easy going, kind, respectful, considerate, understanding, sincere, honest, with a good sense of humor and a good listener. i've always been a hopeless romantic. i've always opened doors, held hands, brought roses ( and not just on the special days like all those amateurs do ) and even gone to "chick flicks" or Fashion Bug. i've always treated women with kindness and respect; not some of the time or even most of the time, either. i've never had a one night stand. i don't use women like that. i'd like a woman who is sweet, kind, caring, active ( in reasonable shape ), honest, not mind public displays of affection, have a lady-like vocabulary ( too Elizabethian for these days? ), know her opinion on matters counts, be silly and serious, and be my best friend, all giving her great inner beauty. Age should read 50, although i'm high energy, so, i feel much younger. i enjoy walks in the park, museums, movies ( in or out ), amusement parks, riding my bicycle, the beach, festivals, reading ( mostly fiction or baseball), roadtrips and watching baseball or football. i don't sweat the little stuff. i like Classic Rock. Everyone else is a distant second behind Zeppelin. i'm close to a degree at Kent State. Have been taking a break lately. i really don't mind all that much what we do as long as i'm with the one i care about. It's the time together that counts. i am a man that cherishes a woman.

i think just a lunch is a good way to go for a first date. That way, you get an idea of what the other person is like and you aren't "stuck" for an entire evening if things don't click. i think that keeps the pressure off. If lunch would go well, perhaps, the meeting could be lengthened to do something else.
