Yup I'm a smoker, yup I have a mid-life paunch, yup my dogs are lazy. Yup not the ideal mate right now. So why put myself on line?
I realized that things have to change. I want to start doing life in a better way. Not only do I want the physical side of life made better but relationships, one in particular, to be healthy. Quitting smoking, good food, excersise and all that healthy stuff is great but a rich relationship makes life so much nicer. So nope not the bronze god type never will be but I do plan to be better.
Any of you ladies still reading have to be aware of a few things about me. I have a 14 year old son that lives with me and is a huge part of my life. I have two little dogs that are learning that the lazy life may be over but that they have time to adjust (so no marathons). I give everything I can to a relationship but boundries can't be crossed just for the sake of crossing. I am soon turning 45 so I probably will not change just because. And I have been around the block enough to realize that game playing is a really bad thing.
Still reading? Guess you're looking to see the completely unreasonable qualities expected. Sorry to disappoint you if your looking to find yet again another chauvanist pig. My ideal woman would be someone that is aware of who they are. Someone, if things were to go more than a casual date or six, who enjoys going to a restaurant for breakfast on Sunday mornings, throwing a dart at a big map and going there on those nice summer Saturdays, cuddling up on a weeknight and watching a good movie. Joining in an easy walk and simply talking about what they and I did that day. My ideal partner does not have to be a catwalk model or power broker, simply a woman looking to be in a healthy relationship. Oh and one last thing you would have to love pets and kids, as I said earlier two dogs plus two cats plus a 14 year old boy.
Ok so we've established what I want. What do I have to give. Well lets go down the path that someone steps into my life and she wants more than meetings at Tims. Genuine interest in her feelings, supportiveness, whatever intellect there is in my head, warm kisses on the back of her neck. I can keep going but this would start to read like a trashy novel.
