I have recently moved to the San Luis area after a long engagement in Los Angeles. Although I love the city and all of her amenities, I've spent the last five years falling in love with the central coast, seduced by the prospect of living a slower, richer, more authentic life. I'm looking for someone who can discuss Shakespeare or philosophy with me while we're pitching our tent in Sequoia; someone who is as comfortable in a four star hotel in Venice as they are in a hut in Tibet, and someone who is always open to considering new ideas and new perspectives. First date, let's see...hot air ballooning - I've never done that, and there's something inherently romantic about it, don't you think? Up, up, and away! Soaring over the beautiful Central California coastline and then setting down in a gorgeous meadow, green and lush and dappled with wild flowers...yes, that's lovely. I see really good crusty bread, an assortment of artisan cheeses, strawberries, chocolate and whipped cream, and some absolutely delectable local wine...yes, that's a very nice place to start! Yeah, that...or maybe coffee.
