I love gardening and am interested in permaculture. I like good food and I like to buy local and organic as much as I can. I am not a foodie but I do like to cook especially when it is a shared acitivity. I love cooking and eating food I have grown or harvested or preserved myself.

I love being outdoors. I'd love to have an outdoor kitchen for summer. After a day working indoors it would be so great to just enjoy the whole evening outside.

I like long walks in the city and in the wilds. I would like to get out into the wilderness more. I find the natural world endlessly fasinating. I care passionately about the environment and believe that somehow we must have real changes in how things are done, but I am not much of an activist.

I enjoy cycling but haven't done much lately. I would love to do bike touring but I would really have to work to get in shape for it.

Unfortunately I get seasick so if sailing is your only passion I'm not the one. Although, I have always wanted to try kayaking. It would be a stretch for me but I believe in stretching myself and it would be a wonderful way to see the coast.

I am literate and fairly well read. I enjoy good conversation on many topics. I enjoy lectures and seminars if the speaker is good and the ideas are thought provoking. I also enjoy uplifting movies or action/adventure. I can't do thrillers or excessive gore; the images stick with me for too long.

I am not very musical but I like most types of music except maybe C&W. I love dancing and would happy to learn to do real couple dancing.

I'd love to go visit to the Solar Living Institute in California, go to Nevada and tour an earthship building and see some of the amazing permaculture gardens in the desert.

Companionship and being a good friend is important to me. Everything is more fun with congenial company.
