I don't much like the drop-down/one answer format that forces you to give inaccurate and thus incomplete answers. Catholic was what I was Raised. I chose No for drinking b/c it makes me sleepy. I said No for smoking b/c it doesn't specify what and I'm allergic to tobacco smoke. I choose Perfer not to say for salary b/c I don't know yet; I just started a new job.
I've been out of the country. Extra points for guessing where from the photo. Oooppppsss! They might not let me keep this parrot up here; it's a King parrot, quite rare. I Promise to post a photo of me when I can get one. I have no one around to take a photo of me. (Will you?)
I really don't have an interest in hobbies. The activities I typed in "Interests" aren't hobbies; I like experiencs that afford intense personal experieneces or a transcendent relationship with myself: Skiing is a conversation I am having with the Mountain; riding is a merging like Zen that gives me a sense of my own Power. I love the discipline of theatre, the loosing of myself in a character or scene; the intellectual stretch a concert/art exhibit excites me, the transcendence of hiking the redwoods or on the beach. The sound of a bull elk bugeling in the fog on Pt. Reyes is one of the most erreily beautiful sounds in Nature.
Nature: God's poetry.
Goals/aspirations: To live as sustainably as possible in the country with a Garden and some animals (my horse); to Foxtrot into the Sunset with my soulmate; and to have a perfect Relationship with God (without the Dogma).
I love language and relate to it very precisely; poetry/theatre are important to me.
Love Jazz (not Latin), Blues (Delta best), Classical, Religious, some Rock. Not into heavy metal/hip-hop/rap. Get bored with people who's life is a 1.5 pager and shallow relationships.
A significent relationship I've had is with my Dog, a shephardXcoyote/wolf. We'd pack a backpack, hike up into the hills or the redwoods and not see another soul all day and be perfectly happy together. She's gone to Happy Hunting Ground, buried where we used to hike. I still miss her Terribly but I am getting another Shepherd. One of the wonderful things she did was Howl. It was a beautiful sound (sometimes I'd howl with her!) I am a Woman Who Runs with the Wolves; it's a book on Jungian psychology.
I am a Voracious reader.
What I am seeking from a partner is Balance, Laughter and Passion; I can teach you the Foxtrot.
I have soloed the Matterhorn, been a champion skier, exercise rider, 1st Class VFR, and taught dance. I Love horses, dogs, and have 2 small birds I have owned since they were babies; I Adore them. I do NOT like games with balls so if your happiness is to sit in front of the tube all day watching baseball/football/basketball/golf every evening/weekend pass me by. PLAYing a sport is different. To hunt/fish, I've done both.
I don't have a TV-it's a cognitive abortion box. I Hate Shopping/Malls-they are a denial of death. I like used book stores, Hardware stores and Tack shops.
I am not materialistic. Social and Economic Justice are of utmost impotance to me.
Love Indie/Doc film, theatre, concerts.
Bushie/Birthers Beware: I enjoy the Grateful Dead, believe 9/11 was an Inside job, and the so-called "Christians" plan to take over Policy/the World - YIKES!
I am sun/heat-sensitive/intolerant, and would be happy if the temperature never went above 70. I LOVE rainy/windy/stormy weather!
And hair; Nothing like a messing up his hair in bed and a good face scratch to start the day and what better to do it with then his beard. Weird ugh?
I like picnics if it is someplace we have to hike to. I like riding in the soft rain, skiing in the light snow, and hiking thru the redwoods in the wind and fog. Wanna go for a hike? |
