I'm not your typical girl...

1. I've got a lot of hobbies, but will try to keep it short. I enjoy being active & playing sports...anything from mountain biking & w/w kayaking to racquet sports (anything with flying objects, really) and yoga. I have a bass guitar and love drawing. I've changed a guy's tire while wearing a Bebe sundress. I used to be a competitive pool player and an assistant kickboxing coach. And standard: cooking, dancing, adventure, languages, travelling...

2. My goals/aspirations include exploring the globe, mastering Spanish (I'm half Chilean), becoming a better person, and eventually finding my niche somewhere in BC (I love the outdoors, but also the amenities of a big city). An ongoing mission includes mastering my fear to expand my comfort zone.

3. I'm from a small northern town & am new here. I chose my discipline because it reflects my love of the environment, art/design, and mechanical phenomena (be it soil, air, water, or machine). I enjoyed my automotive mechanics courses, but I'm girly: I love shopping, spa sessions (mani's balance out biking blisters) and fashion. I love making my home inviting and warm. Friends & family are very important to me. I get along with lots of people and am equally comfortable at a classy soiree or kicking back at a pub.

4. My iPod has music ranging from chill tunes & salsa to house & hard rock.

I'd like to start off with something fun and engaging (pool, beach walk, frisbee, etc.) over face-to-face interview style dates...but as long as we're sharing some quality convo and laughs, we're good to go.
