I'm originally from a major metropolitan area of the South (still have the accent), have been in the Seattle area for 6 years and love the Pacific Northwest. I don't think I'll ever get over how beautiful it is here.

I'm a foodie.... a formally trained chef, work in the R&D division of a local food manufacturer and love to experience the Seattle dining scene on the weekends. In addition to my culinary affinities, I love to get out and explore the outdoors, random road trips without any predetermined destination, movies, live music and a good rainstorm. We usually don't have the severe thunderstorms up here, but really, who doesn't love a good rain?
