I am able to see the big picture and I appreciate learning or being shown a new perspective. My joys in life are my dog Horatio and all that is involved in his care and comfort, independent films, museums, arboretums, hiking (without snakes),traveling, driving without destination, reading, cooking, drawing,tinkering, being active, and chillin' with other peoples kids. Regarding music, I enjoy Andrew Bird, Radiohead, Sea Wolf, Fiona Apple, Tori Amos, Keane, Regina Spektor,,,,no country please. I have a very full schedule at this time therefore I am most interested in finding someone to share an occasional dinner, film or outing. I am perfectly content on my own and not looking for someone to complete me, yet I appreciate time spent with someone with similar interests and views.I feel we are, or at least should be, trying to continually evolve as individuals and I am attracted to those whom share that same belief. An important point I feel I need to address is that I have no place for religion in life, so if it is an integral part of yours please respect our difference.

Not one to put any expectations out there for first dates or meet-ups... I prefer simple, laid back and relaxed.I am not looking to be "wowed". No matter if it is a date, friendship or relationship; I want someone who can hold a conversation and treat others with respect and kindness( incl animals).
