Hi, My name is Andy, I live in Gladstone and I work in Midtown KC. I'm a non-smoking, light-drinking, childless, ex-wife-less, 6'1", 175 lb, reddish-brown-haired, blue-green-eyed man. My friends would probably describe me as a nice, generous individual with a quirky sense of humour. I like to do lots of things, I'm pretty much up for anything as far as spare time is concerned. I like to do lots of stuff around the house, I'm fairly handy as far as that stuff goes. I've been getting into making furniture lately and that's a lot of fun. I'm also an amateur musician. I play the drums, guitar, piano and a few others. It's just for fun.

I've been advised to enter a couple of funny quirks. Stand back, ladies: Well, I travel some for work, about six or seven times a year for a week at a time. I wanted to get a pet. Since I travel and live alone, I couldn't get a dog. I got a cat instead. I got worried that the cat was getting lonely so I got another cat. That is how a heterosexual man comes to have two cats. I'm also fond of baked goods. I like bread, cookies, homemade pizza dough, things like that. I learned quickly that those kinds of things do not, in fact, materialize out of thin air, so I bake on occasion. That is how a heterosexual man comes to have a stand mixer. Plus, I like to think of it as a power tool for the kitchen. That's manly, right? Oh, one other strange quirk. I can't stand to touch styrofoam; You know when you get something and it's form-fitted into styrofoam and you have to dig it out? I have to mentally prepare myself for that. I know, it's weird. But there's something about the texture of it and the sound it makes that drives me crazy. I will open every jar, kill every spider, and trap every mouse for the rest of our lives if you promise to do the styrofoam part for me, I'm serious.

About my match: This is a hard thing to define. The most important thing is that we like each other and want to be with each other. I like strong, independent women who have a lot of confidence and are generally happy people. If you can make me laugh, that's a big plus. I'm a pretty active person and I'd like to find someone who also likes to be active. I also love spending time at home with a good movie and a few friends or just us. I like going to nice little restaraunts. Movies aren't my favorite on a first date because there isn't as much of an opportunity to get to know each other.
