I am a semi-retired technical writer, have quite a few pets (a dog, 2 cats, turtles, geckos...) so you can see I'm into animals ;-). I am affectionate, easy-going, have a good sense of humor, and am fairly inventive and adventurous. I like good conversation, fun and joking around, videos, flea markets, live music (rock, folk, Celtic, blues, classical, but not opera or whiny country). I meditate and read quite a bit. I'm not athletic but I am fairly active. I like outside activities like canoeing and flat-water kayaking, walking, gardening, and just looking at nature!

I am spiritual and intuitive. I find that the most interesting and important things in life are beyond the surface. I believe in having a positive attitude, so I ignore a lot of popular culture ;-)

Looking for someone with similar views and interests to share fun activities! A long-term relationship would also be good if we develop that. However I'm not sure I want to get married again or even live with someone -- I've gotten to like having my own space ad schedule.

I'm not much interested in the news, organized religion, or team sports, and I'm very selective about TV.
