I'm recently separated from a long term marriage and haven't dated for a really long time so be patient with me.(The last time I dated, I looked like Eric Foreman from "That 70's Show")
I'm self employed and work out of my home so my time is as flexible as I need it to be. I'm a pretty outdoorsy type. I like to hike, bike, canoe and cross country ski among other things.
I'm a golden rule kind of guy and always ask myself how the other person might feel or react to something I might do or say. A harsh word or caustic comment is like toothpaste squeezed out of a tube, really hard to take back.
I have a collection of eclectic European cars and a motorcycle that I do most of my own work on.
I love to cook all sorts of cuisines, everything from a killer curry to Wiener- schnitzel mit Rotkohl und Rotkartofeln (extra points if you know what that is).
I'm looking for that one special someone to spend the rest of my days (and nights) with. Someone with whom we can fulfill each others needs and desires.Someone who is as happy to see me at the end of the day as I am to see them. Someone who loves to kiss and cuddle on the couch on a cold winter night. Reaching out to hold your hand for the first time, and seeing that sparkle in your eyes, is what I look forward to. You would be hard pressed to embarrass me with public displays of affection. I will only respond in kind. It's all about how we feel about each other and not what anyone else thinks.
Hopefully, you like to dance, as that is one of my favorite things to go out and do. It's a great workout, (if you are as enthusiastic as I am) and makes for great foreplay. It's fun to let your body do the talking.
I'm 6' tall and weigh 210 lbs and am a very active and athletic 53. (no muffin top and you can actually see some abs if the light is just right.)

A picnic at a park with homemade goodies and a bottle of wine followed by a canoe ride on the lake. The Arboretum this time of year is beautiful to paddle around in and get lost in the Autumn colors.
