First and foremost, I am a mother of two great kids, my son is almost 10 and my daughter is 7. I'm recently divorced as of June and my ex and I get along well for the sake of the kids (most of the time, at least).

I'm a pretty down to Earth woman...I love to watch a good horror movie, dress comfy and stay in, but I do appreciate finer things too...I like to dress up and have a nice evening out on the town, I love great conversation and culture. I like to eat healthy and try to stay physically fit and I would appreciate a partner who likes the same for himself. I am a traditional gal and believe there should be a courtship when starting a relationship. I'm not overly traditional though and have no problem taking turns and taking the man on a date as well.

My taste in music is very general. I truly like and appreciate all kinds of music. If I'm gonna choose to listen to something specific, it's usually Kings of Leon, Paramore, Pink, Linkin Park, One Republic.

My taste in food is basic. I appreciate a good steak, I love veggies, I'm a starch junkie but try to suppress that! ha. I try to experience new dishes all the time though. I don't do much cooking, however. I keep my meals pretty simple at home, especially since my children are picky.

I'm very open minded. I have specific views on things, but I always try to see and understand someone else's views as well.

I'd have to say I am picky this time around and I'm looking for a man who has an up to date sense of style, is health conscious, has good manners, has ambition in his career, doesn't have much drama and who is really serious about getting to know me.

Oh...and I have been known to smoke a little when drinking...I don't consider that it makes me a smoker, but apparently some guys really get bent outta shape about it...just FYI.

I'm open, but usually find that a basic lunch, dinner or just coffee is sufficient in finding if the chemistry is there to take you to a next meeting.
