Some things about me... recently updated btw

I like going to see live concerts, hanging out with family and friends at home or out and about. I like to go babseball and hockey games, and also play pool. Comedy shows are great too.

I have extended family in the local area, but my parents and sister live far away. I have THE cutest nephew in history (it's true, I've checked!) that I love to dote on. My nephew's recent dabblings in the world of crayons and fingerpaints are proudly displayed on my fridge or desk, and would get tons of money at auction =) I really love to visit with my family, and make time to see them as much as possible. I have several "adopted" family members, and have been blessed with having several Mom's and Dad's, and extended "family" members. I have a very close circle of life long friends, but like to meet new people.

I have two sponsor kids that live in Africa (one in Ghana, and one in Malawi). It would be a life changing experience to be able to travel there to meet them one day... Definately something for my to do list! I get letters from overseas every few months from them, and it is some of the sweetest things I have ever seen with special drawings and letters.

Some fave movies: Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Wizard of Oz, Star Wars & The Empire Strikes Back (the original versions are better I think), Shawshank Redemption, Silence of the Lambs, Stargate, The Wedding Singer, Zoolander, Titanic, Risky Business, Strange Brew, Flash Gordon.

I tend to like rock music, but also dig blues, alternative, some metal, oldies (50's, 60's 70's), classical, reggae (sp?). Pretty much run the radio dial from the 88's to the 107's depending on what is palying. Also get laughs from FHF on the am radio side.

I am currently reading a few different books including: The Princess Bride, Breaking Dawn, The Love Dare, and Level 4 Virus Hunters of the CDC. Actually that last one has been a 5+ year endeavor but I determined to finish it. I like to read some magazines as well like Rachel Ray Everyday, Games, Consumer Reports, Time, and sometimes the OC Weekly. I could seriously get lost in Barnes and Noble and not be seen for hours if given the chance.

Anyway, that is a bit about me.

Depends on the person I am talking to really. I am open to ideas, but coffee, snacks, or just hanging out are all good.
