I am taking some time off of dating for a couple of reasons. I'm not seeking right now as I'm trying to neutralize a pressing situation--and I find that so many daters these days have yet to learn that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all. Being single is no fun. I think its yucky. Do you? I find that in dating, we have those going through a revolving door, always looking for perfection, and as a consequence, the odds increase that we end up being subjected to some of the most bizarre treatment and ideas one can imagine. Have you noticed? Geewiz, I think what inspired me to call a time out on all of this online dating business was when I met someone who insisted that children were to blame for their own exploitation. Terrible huu? And then there are those who are only kind if you do what they want you to. And all the while I thought that being single was a bad thing. Well, maybe its not so yucky...maybe its better to be single than to be with someone who makes their intent to use you pretty obvious upfront...yes? Oh well, I have met lots of neat people too, some wonderful souls, splendid folks that shine like stars in a dark sky, so, I guess it all balances out in the end, I guess. Anyway, I am taking just a little while off...must take a breather...

Campfires and marshmallows makes the world happily spin a few extra rotations--nothing is better than laughing, being helpful, hugging and smiling. Nature and music are great. Good conversations are essential. I love photography, technology, mac computers, art, thrift shops and ephemera (collectible paper antiques). If I was a smurf, I'd soak in red rose petals in an attempt to paint myself pink. My profile states BBW because I'm taller than the average girl and I'm also a pleasant handful. :) I was once a BBW model but now I'm disqualified because I'm two sizes smaller--actually, I'm too old to go back to that world. Ha. So, on the vocation front, I bring the world the heart of a teacher who could not bring herself to get past the NCLB hi-jump, an entrepreneurial spirit and the computer design skills that can build brands out of thin air.
