I'm not really sure what to put in this little box, since I'm really not sure what I'm looking for. The real reason I joined this site is because my friends have been pressuring me to 'get out there and meet new people' for sometime now, and this was the only way I could do that without actually having to leave my house. Now don't get me wrong, I enjoy awkward conversations with gentleman I meet 'out' as much as the next girl, but as I am nearing my late twenties I've decided that I absolutely can not find myself engaged in anymore insipid conversation with guys who are looking to hookup with a random chick for the night, so they're only feigning interest in what I have to say in hopes of getting in my good graces and then getting in my pants... Wow, that made me sound kind of bitter! Maybe I am =)

A little about me- For the most part I'm a very upbeat person. I love to spend time with my family, since I was blessed with a great one. I am not a girl who enjoys being the center of attention, I am way too shy, and low key, for that. I have a closet full of dresses and high heels, but I am usually in jeans and chucks. I have a 3 year old black lab who keeps me in shape. She loves to run, swim, play, hike, etc. and she makes her Momma come along for all of her adventures. I'm genuinely interested in learning and trying new things, and I believe repetition is for the unimaginative.

I'm not quite sure what else to put here, so I'm going to stop writing now. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, feel free to drop me a line... OH, one more thing, I have a terribly sarcastic, and often times inappropriate, sense of humor, so if you're easily offended I would urge you not to write to me.
