Where do i start?? Well, i'm 23, dark hair, dark eyes, currently living in Mossley Hill. I like reading, love music and enjoy nights out with friends and nights in with a movie and bottle of wine in equal measure.

I'm not your typical 23 year old girl. I have little interest in celebrity gossip and dont pay to have anything done to my nails. I like pubs as opposed to clubs and the average age of my friends is probably around 35. My sense of humour can be quite dark and cynical and i love shows like Black Books, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Have I Got News For You.
I'm loyal, considerate and generous. Clever, thoughtful and affectionate. But now i'm just giving you a string of adjectives and i find that to be kinda boring... So instead i'll give you some fundamental, yet trivial, facts about me :)

I like baseball, my favourite lager is kronenbourg and i wont even consider drinking carlsberg, my favourite movie is disneys Alice in Wonderland, i love mexican food but also enjoy chinese, italian, indian and thai is growing on me.
I love tulips, my ideal pizza has everything on it (except olives), ladybirds are the only insects i like, rain or shine i prefer to go barefoot, i love having pets but they mostly have to be the furry kind.
I'd love to be able to play guitar, i cant drive, growing up my favourite actress was Geena Davis, i drink red wine, my favourite destinations for a quick getaway are Amsterdam, Keswick and Llandudno, i love walking around ruined castles by myself, i believe The West Wing is the greatest show to ever be on television, if i could go back in time and stop Jeff Buckley going swimming in that river i'd risk destroying the universe to do it.
I like movies with lots of guns in them, i dont see why any girl needs more than three pairs of shoes, i'm scared of aliens, i'm quite good with computers, i can get lost for hours in number puzzles, i like comic books, i think yoghurt tastes better when i eat it with my fingers, all the way through this i've been trying to figure out which is my favourite icecream flavour but i still cant decide.
And possibly the biggest piece of fundamental trivia in this town, i've been raised an Everton supporter although i dont really care about football either way...

As for why i'm here, i've been single for almost a year now and i miss being in a relationship. I like having someone to do things with, whether that mean a weekend in the country, a meal out or just a lazy sunday lying on the sofa watching Dave.

I'm not looking for anything casual. This time around i hope i meet someone i could happily spend the rest of my life with.

I only have three solid rules for the guy i'm looking for. He has to be older than me, taller than me and he has to want children. The first two i cant explain, i've just never been attracted to anyone shorter and immediately lose interest if i find out someone is even a day younger than me. I guess i like to feel protected! And the third, well, i love kids and i want to have a big family. And i dont really want to risk falling for someone who then decides being a father isnt for him.
Further to that, i'd prefer someone reasonably intelligent. I'm not really big on current affairs and politics, but i enjoy a discussion on literature or historical cultures as much as the next girl. (incidentally, anyone who doesnt show a basic understanding of punctuation will be politely turned away...)
An open attitude to music would be a big plus. I never meet anyone who's heard of most of the groups i'm passionate about, but someone willing to come along to their gigs with me anyway would be wonderful. (examples - Toad the Wet Sprocket, Counting Crows, Better Than Ezra, Gin Blossoms, Daughtry, Passion Pit, The Last Goodnight, Nerina Pallot, Paramore, Tom Petty, The Delays, Athlete, The Calling, The Wreckers, Bruce Hornsby, to name but a few off the top of my head)

I'm quite shy in group situations, so someone more outgoing would be good. Cooking is never a bad quality in a man, and a driver would be a plus, since i'm not and having a car helps with weekends away.
Also someone easygoing... I've been known, on occasion, to be a bit sulky (no?! a woman in a sulk?? surely not! :p) So yes, a guy willing to make me a cup of tea, give me a kiss and tell me i'm being silly = infinitely better than a guy who tells me to sod off and sits in a sulk himself.
